A common list of winning hands begins with jacks or better, moving on to two pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It is obvious that the payout schedule can vary from game to game, so that knowledgeable gamblers are able to select the most money-making machine each time.
After the initial round has completed, the player can either decide to remain on and try to to maximize their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any cash that might have been won. Additionally, several styles of the game give the gambler a chance to increase their winnings, in which instance another hand is played. There are also differences among individual machines, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other varying characteristics to increase playability.
